From Backcountry
The Scarpa F1 XT Alpine Touring Boot closes the shell with two buckles and the Wave Lite Closure System instead of a dial, built to hold the foot secure through a full day of climbing and skiing. A Grilamid Fiber Glass shell paired with a Carbon Grilamid cuff keeps the boot light without trading away stiffness on steep, technical terrain. The Booster Strap locks the cuff down for confident power transfer on the descent. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I was worried two buckles couldn't match a dial for fine-tuning fit on the skin track, but the Wave Lite system held even pressure across a full tour without a single readjustment."
