What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:“With 150 mm of VPP suspension, 29″ wheels, Fox Performance Elite suspension, and SRAM GX Eagle AXS electronics—it’s the modern trail bike that climbs smart, descends hard, and handles any line with confidence.”We ride the Santa Cruz Hightower GX AXS when we demand trail dominance and refined responsiveness. Its full-carbon chassis delivers 150 mm of VPP™-driven rear travel paired with a 160 mm Fox 36 Float Performance Elite fork, creating a suspension platform that climbs efficiently and descends with gravity‑fueled confidence.
