From Backcountry
The SAM Sherpa Vest pairs plush faux shearling with leather trim at the collar, balancing cozy texture with a more elevated edge than a typical layering piece. The sherpa fabric is wind-resistant and water-repellent, so the vest holds up as a real outer layer and not just an indoor piece. An adjustable drawstring hem and front zip closure let it work over a sweater or a flannel without losing its relaxed, easy fit. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I wore this on a breezy fall afternoon walk expecting to feel the wind right through it, and it actually cut the chill instead of just looking cozy. A light drizzle rolled in on the way back and beaded right off instead of soaking through."
