What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I wore the Genesis Mid GTX Hiking Boot on a rocky ridge hike and the optiFOAM midsole gave every step a noticeably cushioned landing. Rain moved in halfway through and the GORE-TEX membrane kept my feet completely dry the rest of the way."Rugged ridgelines demand a boot that moves as quickly as you do, and the Salomon Genesis Mid GTX Hiking Boot delivers exactly that kind of agility without sacrificing support. We've picked our way across loose scree and scrambled over rock gardens in these, feeling light and quick footed the whole way instead of weighed down by a traditional boot.
