What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"The Genesis 2 GTX Trail Running Shoe came out on a long alpine loop with me last fall when the weather turned halfway through, and the trails got properly ugly. The Contagrip outsole kept me dialed in on slick roots and wet granite, and at 9. 3 ounces it never once felt like the shoe was working against me on the climbs."Some trails demand a shoe that simply won't quit. The Salomon Genesis 2 GTX Trail Running Shoe was engineered for exactly those days, the ones where the route gets technical, the weather shifts without warning, and you need every piece of your kit to pull its weight. Tipping the scales at just 9.
