From Appalachian Outfitters
We define speed hiking as moving fast but in your own time and at your own pace - training for and in the mountains. Comfort protection and lightness are key. As such the Pedroc Pro Mid PTX is a lightweight versatile and protective technical solution. This mid-cut shoe works well in a wide range of settings from mixed terrain to more urban scenarios. In the mountains the strong ripstop mesh mid-cut upper and TPU rand ensure protection against abrasion while the integrated Ankle Protector system and SALEWA 3F system improve support and stability during your hiking sessions - especially on edgy surfaces.
