From Backcountry
When the weather gets cold but we don't want to stop hiking and backpacking, we slip into our Salewa Alp Mate Winter Hiking Boots and hit the trail. The Alp Mate offers strong support and weather resistance with mid-cut ankle collars, sturdy soles, and a waterproof-breathable membrane to keep our feet warm and dry. The winter version adds a wool lining to insulate our feet against the snow and slush, along with Pomoca rubber outsoles with specialized rubber and lugs made for winter traction.
