Sage&';s Trout Fly Reel is designed for single-handed trout rods and can be used in a variety of situations. Similar to their Trout Spey reel this reel has decreased porting for increased weight to balance heavier rods. Beyond that the reel also has a large arbor for high retrieval rates an SCS drag system for fish-stopping power and user-friendly ergonomics. If you&';re looking to outfit your small stream or large stream trout rod with a reel the Sage Trout is a stellar option for both beginner and experienced anglers alike. Design Trout Design - Sage built the Trout Fly Reel to be a blend of classic aesthetics and modern performance.
