From Thunder Mountain Bikes
The Eagle S100 Half Mount Plate is a simple but smart addition for riders who want extra peace of mind on the trail. By integrating with the UDH bolt it provides a secondary point of support for your derailleur adding resilience against the side impacts knocks and slams that can knock a standard hanger out of alignment. Even the smallest bend can compromise shift quality and accelerate wear. The Half Mount Plate helps keep everything straight true and shifting perfectly ride after ride.
