From Rwanda&';s rolling hills this coffee from the Abakundakawa Cooperative shines with red berry sweetness and tropical vibrancy. "Abakundakawa " meaning "coffee lovers " was founded in 1999 by 100 farmers seeking better market access through collective effort and now represents over 6 000 farmers who process their harvests at the Minazi and Rushashi washing stations. This particular lot was grown exclusively by the Hingakawa group a subset of 740 women cultivating coffee as a path to restoration and reconciliation after the Rwandan civil war.
