Ross San Miguel Fly Reel

From Trident Fly Fishing

Ross has been making some of the best fly reels on the market for decades and their new San Miguel Reel pays tribute to a heritage design that they haven&';t had on the market for over twenty years. The all-new San Miguel picks up where the original left off and features the classic "flower petal" porting with the solid-backed frame as well as a reliably sealed drag and ultra-smooth free spool. Crafted with more modern materials and machining this updated version of the San Miguel sports a classy micarta handle which is a material commonly used in high-end custom knives that improves grip when wet--think of it as the solution to winter days cold hands and a tough fish pulling drag.
