What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I love how clean and responsive this reel feels on smaller water. The click-pawl gives just enough tension for technical trout fights, and the sound is that classic, satisfying tone you only get from a well-built minimalist reel."When we wade into tight creeks or slip along high-country lakes, the Cimarron Creek Fly Reel connects us to a more deliberate pace—where every cast is intentional and every take feels electric. Its lightweight, fully machined frame keeps our setup balanced and nimble, helping us drop dries under overhanging branches or finesse small streamers through pocket water with confidence.
