From Trident Fly Fishing
Rio Salmon/Steelhead Tippet 3 Pack is built for the moments when a big fish eats hard and heads for the worst possible cover. When you are targeting salmon and steelhead in fast runs boulder gardens and snaggy seams this tippet helps you keep the connection when the fight turns ugly. This material is made for swinging intruders and spey flies stripping heavy streamers or running weighted nymph rigs where your line is always flirting with rocks and wood. Use it to build custom leaders for the water you are fishing or to extend a tapered leader after a few fly changes and rough drifts.
