The RIO Mainstream Striper Fly Line is designed specifically for striped bass and other coldwater saltwater species. Featuring a quick loading weight forward taper, this line is easy to cast and capable of turning over a wide range of fly sizes from large baitfish patterns to smaller crab and shrimp imitations. This line is built with an intermediate sinking profile and sinks at approximately 1.5 to 2 inches per second, making it ideal for fishing just below the surface. The line is entirely clear for maximum stealth in clear or pressured water conditions. Please note that despite some product images showing a gray appearance, the actual line color is clear.
