From Trident Fly Fishing
Rio Fluoroflex Strong Tippet is for the days when fish are picky and the water is clear. If you have watched a trout track your fly then refuse at the last second this is the kind of connection that can help you close the deal. Built from 100 fluorocarbon it keeps a low profile underwater while still giving you the confidence to lean on your knots when the moment counts. This tippet shines in clear rivers spring creeks and pressured tailwaters where fish get a long look at your leader. The dense fluorocarbon helps nymphs get down and stay down which is a big plus for tight-line rigs and indicator setups alike.
