From Trident Fly Fishing
Rio FluoroFlex Striped Bass Leader is built for fly anglers who chase wary stripers in clear water and heavy pressure. When fish get picky and leader shine starts costing you eats this fluorocarbon setup helps keep your fly looking natural while still standing up to tough conditions. This leader shines around sand rocks and other abrasive structure where nylon can get scuffed fast. It is made to help you stay connected longer when a big bass digs in close to the bottom or rubs the leader across rough edges. Why We Like ItWhat sets this leader apart is the purpose-built design for striper flies not just a generic saltwater taper.
