From Trident Fly Fishing
The Rio Elite Musky Outbound carries the shortest and most powerful head in Rio&';s freshwater lineup which is exactly what a day of musky fishing demands. The math of musky is brutal: a thousand casts with a fly the size of a small bird and the only thing standing between you and a wrecked shoulder is a line that loads instantly and shoots without argument. This one is built to do that then sink like an anchor and hold a big unweighted fly in the strike zone for the length of the retrieve.Best ForMusky and big pike - Short front-loaded heads made for throwing maximum line with minimal false casts.
