From Trident Fly Fishing
The Redington EDC Fly Rod is the rod you grab when you do not know exactly what the day holds. EDC stands for Every Day Carry and the premise is a rod that lives in the truck or the travel bag and handles whatever water you end up on whether you are sending dry flies at rising trout casting the flats of New England at cocktail blues or working streamers for strong smallmouth. Every model breaks down into four pieces and rides in a divided tube so the rod that covers all of that also fits behind a seat or in a checked bag. What makes it work as a one-rod answer is the blank.
