Stone Creek(TM) Red Top Foam Beetle The Stone Creek(TM) Red Top Foam Beetle is a simple yet highly effective terrestrial pattern designed to imitate beetles and other small land-based insects that trout eagerly feed on throughout the season. Featuring a durable black foam body and a bright red visibility post this fly combines a realistic silhouette with exceptional flotation and easy tracking on the water. Beetles are a consistent food source for trout especially along grassy banks overhanging vegetation cutbanks and slow-moving water where terrestrials frequently fall into the current.
