From Backcountry
Horizontal sandstone jug hauls, thin limestone slabs, and a spattering of everything with plastic holds, the Red Chili Clue Climbing Shoe is built to send it all. The stronger pre-tensioned downturn generates the power we need to maintain tension in the steep, while the soft, sensitive midsole gives us the flexibility to smear confidently on less-than-vertical routes. We love how the midsole along the inside and outside of the forefoot delivers edging performance without sacrificing flexibility, and the Vibram XS Grip rubber conforms to irregularities in the rock for solid placement on the worst of feet.
