AirFilters.com Humidifiers, for example Radio Shack models, are very efficient during the winter months when furnaces can dry out interior air. Dry air can be uncomfortable and can irritate allerigies and breathing conditions. Humidifiers release humid air back into your home. To keep the cycle of fresh, clean moisture in your home, the filter belt needs to be changed periodically. This Radio Shack humidifier wick replacement filter fits Radio Shack 63-1508 and HCM551. This is an AFTERMARKET filter. The filter prevents surface growth and migration of mold, fungus, algae, and bacteria. For optimum performance, replace filter at the beginning of each season or every 2 months depending on use.
