Race Face ERA Cinch Direct Mount Wide Chainring Weight of Aluminum. 5x The Lifespan Chainrings are an integral part of the drivetrain, but they are also susceptible to wear and need to be replaced periodically. A worn-out ring means less effective chain retention and premature chain wear, leading to poor shifting and more dropped chains on the trail. The Race Face ERA Cinch Direct Mount Wide Chainring ticks all the boxes of weight efficiency and longevity. It is split into three parts: the alloy crank interface, the carbon spider that provides strength without weight, and the stainless steel teeth for the longest weight life.
