What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I always keep the Downpour Pants in my daypack. They're lightweight, easy to throw on over boots with the long side zips, and super reliable when I get caught in a surprise downpour mid-hike."We pull on the Downpour Pants when thunderclouds creep in and trail conditions start to shift. Designed with soft-feel 2. 5-layer Pertex(R) Shield fabric, these pants provide packable protection that doesn't sacrifice comfort. Whether we're trekking through misty forests or scrambling slick ridgelines, these pants stay dry, breathable, and easy to layer over boots and base layers.
