What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I wore the Rab Microlight Windstopper Hoodie on a late-season ridge traverse where the wind was relentless, and the temperature dropped fast, and it handled both without complaint. The WINDSTOPPER membrane cut the wind completely while the 700 fill down kept heat locked in, and the whole jacket compressed small enough that I barely noticed it in my pack on the approach."Wind is the variable that changes everything in the mountains. A cold day with no wind is manageable. Add a sustained ridge gust, and the calculus shifts fast.
