What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I use these for shoulder-season climbing when conditions are mixed and movement matters. They stretch easily for high steps, sit comfortably under a harness, and shrug off rock abuse better than lighter softshells. The articulation really stands out on steep terrain."When shoulder-season objectives call for precision footwork and confident movement, we pull on the Ascendor Pant and tie in. Built by Rab for technical alpine climbing, these slim-fitting softshell pants deliver the balance of protection and mobility we need for mixed routes and variable conditions.
