The swingarm spool is mounted to a special black-anodised stainless steel bracket (included with the kit). The product will give protection to the swingarm area in most crashes. Also the bike can be lifted on the swingarm spool using a paddock stand with hooks. These cotton reels are specifically designed to fit the Honda NC700S & NC700X '12-'15 and have the ability to be fitted with a R&G bike-specific toe guard thanks to a mounting point already present on the cotton reel bracket.R&G "Cotton Reel" swingarm spools are used in conjunction with a paddock stand to raise the rear tire off of the ground.
