From Twisted Throttle
The R&G Boot Guard Kit is designed to protect your swingarm and boots from wear and tear while riding. The unique texture provides a buffer between the rear suspension and your footwear so abrasion is minimized. Without this kit your boots would rub the swingarm and eventually damage the finish on both.
