Constructed from AR650 ballistic steel (0.25" thickness) these plates provide Level III+ protection designed to exceed NIJ0101.06 Level III standards with the inclusion of stopping ability for M193 from a 20 inch barrel. Predator Armor Level III+ Body Armor is manufactured in the U.S. using ballistic grade AR650 steel and has the option for a Kevlar-lined spall and fragmentation containment layer. Our process utilizes a unique heat-treating quenching and tempering process that results in an extra-hardened steel plate.
