What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "I love the Meteor for big days because it feels barely there but still gives serious coverage. The low-profile fit vents incredibly well on warm climbs, and adjusting it with gloves on is actually easy. It holds a headlamp securely, and the side and rear protection rating gives extra peace of mind on alpine missions." We reach for the Petzl Meteor Climbing Helmet when our days take us from steep crags to exposed alpine routes. Its in-mold construction blends a lightweight polycarbonate shell with an EPS liner, giving us a low-profile fit that feels almost weightless while still delivering dependable protection.
