Petzl Gully Adze Ice Axe

From Backcountry

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I brought the Gully Adze Ice Axe on a steep couloir climb and the tapered pick stuck cleanly on the first swing every time. At this weight, I barely noticed it clipped to my harness on the approach, which made the technical section that much easier to enjoy."Steep ice demands a tool that keeps up with the terrain, and the Gully Adze Ice Axe from Petzl was built for exactly that kind of climb. Picture working up a narrow couloir before sunrise, front points biting into hard névé, one precise swing after another between you and the ridge above.
