Some rides don't fit neatly into one discipline, and the shoe that covers all of them well is the one worth owning. Pearl Izumi's Expedition Pro Mountain Bike Shoe is built for riding where the demands shift constantly and the shoe needs to keep up with all of them. The perforated synthetic leather upper keeps weight minimal and airflow moving across long efforts, and the BOA L6E reel paired with a forefoot strap locks the foot in precisely without creating the hot spots that build into real discomfort over distance. Soft TX lace guides reduce pressure points further so the fit stays comfortable from the first climb to the last.
