What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"The Torrentshell keeps rain out through hours of steady weather without turning into a sauna. The three-layer construction moves with you rather than catching air, and the PFAS-free DWR sheds water cleanly without any of the chemistry concerns that follow older shell treatments."The Torrentshell 3L uses recycled nylon throughout the shell fabric, so the waterproof protection comes without the virgin petroleum footprint of a conventional shell. Patagonia's H2No Performance Standard means this jacket is tested for long-term waterproofness and breathability under conditions that simulate real use, not just initial lab results.
