What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "I like this hat for long days around water when shade is hard to come by. It stays put in wind and splashy conditions, vents well in the heat, and offers great coverage without feeling heavy. It’s my go-to for fishing, paddling, and beach days." We reach for the Surf Brimmer Hat when the sun is high and the water is calling. Patagonia designed this hat to deliver reliable protection during long days spent casting, paddling, or hiking near the shoreline. The wraparound brim keeps our face and neck shaded so we can stay focused on the experience instead of chasing cover.
