What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I packed this for a fall camping trip, and it lived on top of my base layer the entire weekend. The full zip made temperature swings easy to manage, and the chest pocket kept my headlamp within reach around the fire."Zip into Patagonia's Retro Pile Vest and the campsite feels warmer already. The stand-up collar blocks the wind while you set up camp, and the shearling fleece holds heat without trapping you in bulk, so it layers just as easily under a shell as it does over a flannel. It's the piece you reach for the second the sun dips, and the temperature starts to drop.
