What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "I wear the R1 Air Vest as my go-to core layer when I'm moving fast in cool alpine temps. It's insanely light, packs down tiny, and vents heat well thanks to the hybrid design. The fit is trim without being restrictive, and it layers cleanly under a shell. Plus, it doesn’t hold onto odors, even on multi-day outings." When we’re pushing toward summits or logging fast miles on cool ridgelines, the Patagonia R1 Air Vest is the core warmth layer we trust to keep us comfortable without overheating.
