From Backcountry
The Patagonia Micro D Fleece Jacket is the layer that earns daily rotation, soft enough for the couch and substantial enough for a chilly morning hike or a belay stance in the shade. The lightweight microdenier fleece sits closer to a soft shirt than a traditional midlayer, which means it works as a standalone jacket on mild days and disappears under a shell when the weather turns. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I grab this one when the temperature drops and I just want to feel warm without thinking about it. The microdenier fleece is soft enough to wear all day and the anti-pilling finish keeps it looking right after a season of regular use."
