What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "I’ve been wearing the Light Gust Vest on chilly morning hikes and shoulder-season travel days. It’s super lightweight, surprisingly warm, and layers really well without adding bulk—an ideal piece to keep in rotation all year." We keep the Patagonia Light Gust Vest close when the forecast can’t decide between brisk and balmy. With its full-zip design, low-bulk insulation, and lightweight recycled materials, it’s a versatile layer for trailheads, airport gates, and everywhere in between. The shell and lining are made from stretchy, 70% recycled polyester taffeta with a water-shedding DWR finish that’s free from intentionally added PFAS.
