From Backcountry
The Patagonia Down Sweater Hooded Jacket is a packable insulated hoodie built from NetPlus shell fabric and RDS-certified down, two material choices that do real work rather than just checking a box. The fixed insulated hood and cinchable hem work together to seal the system at both ends, so it functions as a standalone layer on shoulder-season days or tucks cleanly under a hardshell when the weather turns. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I pack this into its own chest pocket and clip it to my pack loop on approaches where the temperature is unpredictable. It's there in seconds when the wind picks up at the ridge."
