From Backcountry
The Patagonia DAS Light Hooded Jacket is the lighter companion to the DAS Parka, built for technical climbing routes where every ounce in the pack is a negotiation. The PlumaFill insulation and packable chest pocket work together so the jacket goes from stuffed to on-body in seconds at the stance, then disappears again before the next pitch. The two-way front zipper lets heat vent on the approach without fully opening the jacket, so the transition from moving to belaying never requires a full kit change. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I stuff this into the chest pocket of my pack at the base and forget it's there until the belay.
