From Backcountry
The Patagonia Capilene Midweight Zip-Neck moves to an updated dot-joint double knit this season, adding improved wicking, stretch, dry time, softness, and durability over the previous fabric. The 1/4-zip vents heat fast on a hard climb and closes back up the moment the wind picks up, so temperature regulation doesn't require stopping to change layers. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"This fitted cut sits close enough to keep the wicking working, but I can still reach the zip pull and drop it open mid-stride without breaking pace. Nothing about it interrupts a climb the way a bulkier baselayer would."
