The Capilene Cool Sun Hoodie weaves 40+ UPF sun protection directly into the fabric, so it won't wash out the way a topical treatment would. A textured back lifts the fabric slightly off the skin to keep air moving as the effort ramps up, and the hood's button closure lets us cinch down coverage when shade runs out. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"IThe thumbhole and middle finger loop cover the backs of my hands the second the sun gets high. The seams stay flat enough that I forget I'm wearing it after a few hours, and the side pocket holds my lip balm and a key without ever feeling in the way."
