From Backcountry
This hoodie's UPF 40+ rating comes from the weave of the fabric, not a spray-on finish, so it holds up wash after wash. A textured back keeps air circulating between the fabric and skin instead of trapping heat against it, and the button-closure hood pulls snug over a ball cap when the sun gets direct. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"The thumb holes are the reason I reach for this one over anything else, since the backs of my hands used to burn through every other shirt I own. The chest pocket zips tight enough that I forget it's there until I need it, and I've put in full days without a single seam giving me trouble."
