The Capilene Cool Long-Sleeve Sun Shirt holds its 40+ UPF rating in the weave itself, so a hundred washes won't wear it down the way a sprayed-on finish would. A textured knit on the back keeps the fabric from sitting flat against skin, so heat has somewhere to go on a long approach. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I noticed the thumb holes first, since the backs of my hands used to take the worst of it on a full day on the water. The chest pocket zips shut and holds my keys without printing through the fabric, and I've never felt a seam rub after hours in the same shirt."
