The Patagonia Better Sweater 1/4-Zip Fleece Jacket is the pullover member of the Better Sweater family, best for when the goal is a quick layer over a base rather than a full open-front jacket. The slim cut keeps it from bunching under a pack hipbelt or a hardshell, and the single zippered sleeve pocket means small essentials stay put without adding bulk to the torso. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I reach for this one when the temperature drops on the approach and I need something I can pull on without stopping to unzip a full jacket. The quarter-zip vents fast when the trail steepens and the slim cut layers cleanly under a shell."
