AirFilters.com Air pollution is heavier indoors than it is outdoors, but most people spend the majority of their time indoors. Air purifiers remove lots of indoor air pollutants, but sometimes you need extra filtration, which is why you need a pre-filter. Pre-filters remove large airborne particulates that easily clog a filter. This particular product is a replacement filter for Payne whole house HEPA Jr. air purifier model P102-350. It uses activated carbon, which is charcoal treated with oxygen to create millions of tiny pores. This filter traps odors and large particles like dust, dander, pollen, and mold.
