What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I stuffed the Shadow Wind Hooded Jacket into my chalk bag pocket on a Red Rocks trip and forgot it was there until the wind picked up on the third pitch-exactly when I needed it. The stretch fabric doesn't restrict movement at all, and the stowable hood is a smart touch when conditions keep changing. It's the kind of layer that earns a permanent spot in the pack."Some days the wind is the whole problem-not the cold, not the rain, just a relentless headwind that drains warmth and momentum. The Outdoor Research Shadow Wind Hooded Jacket handles that problem without adding weight, bulk, or restriction to the equation.
