From Backcountry
When hunting down fresh backcountry lines, we keep comfortably dry in the Outdoor Research Headwall GORE-TEX 3L Jacket. We open the hem-to-bicep zippers to keep from overheating on the climb, while the hood cinches over our helmet to protect our ears from numbing crosswinds. Before the drop, we cinch the hem and cuffs tight to stop spray from pouring inside. And as we reap soft turns, the impermeable membrane prevents snow from soaking in and winds from cutting through.
