What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:“This is the beanie I stash year-round. It’s warm but never sweaty thanks to the merino blend, and the low-profile fit slides under a ski or bike helmet without bunching. Whether I’m hiking, touring, or just running around town, it’s my go-to.”We count on the Alpine Onset Merino 150 Beanie from Outdoor Research to keep us warm without overheating, whether we're climbing skin tracks, running trails, or layering up on brisk morning commutes. Its ultralight design and helmet-compatible fit make it the kind of piece we forget we’re even wearing—until we notice how dry and comfortable we’ve stayed.
