What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "When I'm heading into the mountains for multi-day alpine climbs, the Mutant 52 is my pack of choice. It hauls everything I need—ropes, rack, bivy gear—and still carries close and balanced. I especially like the removable lid and helmet carry system when I'm trying to stay light at altitude. It's been a bomber companion through everything from snowy couloirs to exposed alpine ridges."When the forecast reads “alpine sufferfest,” we load up the Osprey Mutant 52 Backpack and get after it.
