What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:“I take this pack on bigger days when I still want a vest-style fit but need more room. It carries surprisingly well while skinning, and the ski lasso system makes transitions way faster when things get steep or exposed.”Longer ski mountaineering days demand a pack that can keep pace from the first skin track to the final descent. When we’re stacking vert or linking technical lines, the Firn 28L Backpack from Osprey stays composed through every transition. It hugs the body on the climb, never feels cumbersome while scrambling, and stays balanced once skis are back on.
